Connect to God

It’s simple. We believe that anyone and everyone can have a meaningful and personal faith walk become a reality in their lives, regardless of their past or  present circumstances. We also think that the church should be the very best place for anyone (and everyone) to find that faith.

Connect to People

At Connect Church we will place a high emphasis on growing deep, meaningful relationships. We believe that a big part of why we humans were put on this earth was not to walk through this life alone, but to be in community, and to walk together in every area of life, especially in this key area of our faith.

Connect to a Cause

We know that Jesus spent an extraordinary amount of his life, energy, and time on those who were in great need. Much of his life was spent healing the hurting, feeding the hungry, and releasing the oppressed, people who were enslaved by the darkest parts of life. Showing grace and love to people in need is what a great part of his life was defined by.

Did you know?

Did you know?

Did you know we have a team of 15 people heading to Belize November 10th - 18th?

The team will be working with The King's Children's Home which is an orphanage that feeds, clothes, and provides schooling for some pretty desperate kids. Our own Kristin Clark, who has been serving at the Home for 15 years, will be leading the team.  Her and her team are excited to be working on a building project while they are there, not to mention getting to love on some amazing kids as well.

Please support us in prayer as we go and share the love of Christ!

If you would be interested in a future trip please contact Kristin at kristinclarkyfc@icloud.com

8. Relational - we place a high value on developing deep meaningful friendships

9. Resourced - we value your growth and put significant time and energy into resourcing those who desire to work on their own spiritual development

Shelly Christy - Administrator

Shelly Christy comes to us from the Toledo, Ohio area where she worked with Dean for 7 years. She brings a wealth of creativity and energy to our staff and just made the move to the Great White North.  Shelly is married to Barry and has two grown kids, Dean and Lexi, who are currently studying in the USA.

Robyn Miller - Kids-Connect

Robyn is a prairie girl through and through. She was born and raised in Saskatchewan and has great family roots here. Robyn has served in Children’s Ministries in various capacities and is the exact right person to be leading our Kids-Connect. She is enthusiastic and genuine and the kids just love her!

Robyn is a mom herself to a couple of seriously cute guys named Ellis and Beckett. Robyn works at the Crisis Nursery in Saskatoon and takes care of kids in our city when they need it most. She has lived overseas as a nanny, was a flight attendant, finished a sociology degree at the U of S, worked for camps and churches running their children’s programming and worked in our inner city with several different agencies. Most of all, she loves kids.

Marshall Heppner - Worship

Marshall grew up in a small farming community outside of Saskatoon. Born into a family with strong faith, love for music and desire to serve the Lord, his calling towards worship was strong at an early age. After graduating from Briercrest with his BAMus he moved to Kelowna, BC to pursue ministry. Working in and outside of the church for 7 years and spending a year down in California and now back in Saskatoon, Marshall has developed a passion for amazing music and even greater community. He desires to see the church worship the Lord fully in Spirit and in Truth.
